The three honeys of the Three Roads Box, with their distinct colours and textures

Three characters

Powder pink, mahogany, amber: three textures.

The Rose Aromiel is acacia honey worked cold with rosehip, the fruit of the dog rose: creamy, floral then fruity, it accompanies the palate without covering it. The Black Seed Honey, mahogany brown, is dense, with a spiced warmth that lingers. The Jujubier comes from Wadi Do’an in Yemen, where the tree blossoms only a few weeks a year; the CETAM laboratory describes its flavour as “complex, fruity, tangy, persistent”.

Three countries

Russia, Egypt, Yemen: three roads, one box.

Three origins

Each honey keeps its own jar, its lot number and its texture. Together they run from Russia to Yemen by way of the Nile Delta: three roads to taste side by side, in the same week.

Essential questions

Before you choose

What is in the Three Roads Box?

Three 250 g jars, 750 g in all: Rose Aromiel from Russia, Egyptian Black Seed Honey and Jujubier Honey from Yemen, in the black and gold signature box with three bamboo spoons. Bought separately, these three jars cost €101.70; the box is €79.90.

Is the box ready to give?

Yes. The three jars arrive in their box, with their spoons: there is nothing to wrap. To send it directly, simply give the recipient’s address when you order.

Who is the Three Roads Box for?

For a loved one, a client, a colleague or a team: the box reads like a journey, from the most floral to the deepest. The Rose pairs with a light tea, the Black Seed Honey with a cheese of character, and the Jujubier is best savoured alone, by the spoon, in the evening.

What is the difference between Three Roads, Ritual, Prestige and Discovery?

Each one brings together three 250 g jars in a box. The Three Roads (€79.90) runs from the most floral to the deepest: Rose Aromiel, Black Seed, Jujubier. The Ritual (€79.90) combines White Honey, Black Seed and Jujubier. The Prestige (€79.90) pairs Jujubier, White Honey and Rose Aromiel. The Discovery (€69.90) is the gentlest: White, Black Seed and Rose Aromiel, without Jujubier. To choose for yourself, there is Build Your Own Box.

Where can I read the analyses of the honeys?

Higher up on this page: the CETAM laboratory report for the Jujubier (M253022), in full, and the document for the Black Seed sample. They are also gathered on our Lab analysis and traceability page.

Why has my honey crystallised?

Because the Jujubier and the Black Seed honeys are raw, never heated or pasteurised: they may crystallise naturally, and that is normal. To make them fluid again, use a lukewarm water bath below 40 °C, never a microwave. The Rose Aromiel is never heated above 40 °C: its aroma is volatile.

How long does honey keep?

Each jar shows its best-before date: two years. Keep it tightly closed, dry, at room temperature and away from light, and always use a dry spoon, because honey absorbs moisture. The fridge is pointless: it only hardens the textures.

When will I receive my order?

We usually prepare it within 48 working hours; in France and Belgium it then arrives in 3 to 5 working days. For other countries, the estimated date is shown at checkout. Free Mondial Relay delivery · France, Belgium and Luxembourg: you choose your pick-up point after payment.

What if a jar arrives damaged?

Send a photo of the jar and the parcel to contact@grainesdepelerins.com: we send you a new one at our expense, without asking you to return anything. Maud replies, from our House in Paris.
